Granite United Way Opens Community Response Grant Funding Opportunity

Granite United Way is opened its community response grant funding process this month. Requests for Proposals application process went live on Monday, December 15, 2025.
Granite United Way offers nonprofits an opportunity to access responsive funding multiple times a year with grants ranging from $1,000 - $10,000 each cycle.
“Our responsive grantmaking model allows us to quickly direct funds to nonprofits with immediate needs across our communities,” said Nichole Martin Reimer, President and CEO of Granite United Way. “Our local Community Impact Committees review every application each funding cycle and consistently see the value of this approach. Many members have noted the clear and ongoing need to keep critical services and programs accessible during times of uncertainty.”
Certified 501(c)3 organizations, or organizations with a fiscal sponsor, can apply for funding in the regions Granite United Way serves. Since introducing this responsive funding model in the fall of 2024, Granite United Way has distributed over $1 million to meet immediate needs across its seven regions.
New this cycle, agencies will register for access to the funding portal, and when they login, see all the opportunities available through Granite United Way. This includes additional opportunities Granite United Way administers, including the Opioid Abatement Community Grants Program.
