Eversource & Granite United Way Partner to Power Community Support

Our corporate partners play a crucial role in supporting and strengthening the communities that Granite United Way serves. Eversource, a major utility company serving approximately 550,000 customers across New Hampshire, is one of those partners.

The Granite United Way Workplace Campaign

Each year, Eversource runs a Granite United Way Workplace Campaign, encouraging employees to donate a portion of their paycheck to support those in need within their community. All donations made through the workplace campaign stay local within the community where the employee works or lives. 

Eversource is deeply committed to supporting the communities where we work and live. We've had a long-standing Granite United Way campaign within the company, and we offer a company match to amplify our collective impact. (David)

The Secret to Any Successful Workplace Campaign

The success of any Granite United Way wokrplace campaign relies on Employee Campaign Coordinators (ECCs) like David and Sammie who volunteer their time to fostering a culture of giving and community engagement among their fellow employees.

David and Sammie are both long-time Granite United Way donors who enjoy inspiring their workforce to join them in giving. To boost employee engagement, Eversource has implemented creative strategies like taking employees offsite to visit the organizations benefiting from their donations. This allows employees to witness firsthand the impact of their contributions.

I personally give to CASA through Granite United Way. I recently increased my donation to the leadership level of $1,000, and I hope that my colleagues join me in that. (Sammie)
