Day of Caring is Today!

On Friday, May 15, 2026 thousands of volunteers will be rolling up their sleeves and providing hours of volunteering to complete ‘wish list’ projects at local nonprofits across New Hampshire and Windsor County, Vermont.
“Each year our Day of Caring events mobilize thousands of volunteers across communities in New Hampshire and Windsor County, Vermont.” said Nichole Martin Reimer, President and CEO of Granite United Way. “This is an example of how dedicated our volunteers are – helping local nonprofits with countless ‘wish list’ projects and providing impact that lasts longer than this day of service.”
Projects include everything from opening up summer camps, painting, yard work, cleaning outdoor equipment, cleaning beaches, and much more. Nonprofits across Granite United Way’s footprint are invited to host projects at their locations.
All regions of Granite United Way will be hosting Day of Caring projects. The North Country projects will be hosted on Wednesday, May 20, 2026.
