Beech Street Center City Initiative Grant
Granite United Way (GUW), NH Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA), and Deo Mwano Consultancy (DMC) are collaborating to offer this one-time grant opportunity. In late 2023, DMC worked with CDFA to perform a feasibility study in Center City Manchester. This grant opportunity is informed by that study.
These grants of up to $10,000 will support youth-focused organizations and programs in the Beech Street School Neighborhood of Manchester, New Hampshire.
The grant application process will open on June 9, 2025 and close on June 30, 2025 at 5 PM.
Eligible awardees for this grant include nonprofit organizations, school-based groups, community initiatives including sports tournaments, and programs that specifically serve youth 22 years old and under in the Manchester area of Valley Street to Hanover Street and Lincoln Street to Pine Street.
To receive access to the grant application, applicants must email KR Epstein at kr.epstein@graniteuw.org. The email should include a contact name, contact email, initiative/organization name, and a request for language assistance if needed.
Each proposal will be evaluated individually by an eight-member Advisory Group of community members including teachers, school staff, local business owners, and parents who live and/or work in Center City Manchester. The Advisory Group reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, and to waive any minor irregularities in the proposals.
Thank you to the Community Development Finance Authority and Deo Mwano Consultancy for bringing this opportunity to our community!
