Eversource Energy and Employees Invest $175,000 in our Community Through United Ways Across New Hampshire

United Ways across New Hampshire announced that Eversource Energy, a long-time supporter of United Ways across New England, has generously donated $175,000 in critical funding from the Eversource Foundation, as well as an additional $268,345 in donations to the United Way and community partners from New Hampshire employees through the company’s annual employee giving campaign. 

In total, Eversource employees and the Eversource Foundation have contributed more than $2.6 million during the company’s six-week employee annual fundraising effort across the company’s three-state service territory in New England, helping to connect thousands of people in need with community services through United Way agencies. Additionally, hundreds of Eversource employees volunteered at events across its service territory in support of local United Way organizations.

The support from their leadership and employees is second to none, ensuring that New Hampshire residents have access to critical resources that address immediate needs,” said Patrick Tufts, President and CEO of Granite United Way. “Eversource employees are especially generous, giving not only their financial support but mobilizing hundreds of volunteers that support our nonprofit partners across the state.”

In addition to this generous donation, Eversource also provides in-kind support for 211 NH, New Hampshire’s free information and referral resource. The corporation provides technology and office space for Granite United Way to administer the initiative that responds to over 142,000 inquiries for help each year.

These funds will be distributed across New Hampshire’s four United Ways which include Granite United Way, United Way of Greater Nashua, United Way of Sullivan County and Mondadnock United Way.
