Community Impact Area
Granite United Way believes that everyone deserves opportunities to have a good life: a quality education that leads to a stable job, enough income to support a family through retirement, and good health. Granite United Way’s plan to drive change starts with our Strategic Plan and local strategies focused intently on our community’s most pressing needs.
Each of these strategies will address the following:
• Education – Helping Children and Youth Achieve Their Potential
• Income – Promoting Financial Stability and Independence
• Health – Improving People’s Health
Each fall Granite United Way's volunteer-led Community Impact Committees accept proposals in each of our six regions. Each local committee determines the specific criteria for those proposals. During this time we encourage non profits to apply through the grant funding process. Last year our volunteers donated more than 6,000 hours to the process and we thank them.
Granite United Way has opened its annual RFQ and Short Form RFP Process.
Granite United Way is excited to announce that the application processes for qualification and funding have opened. These applications are due on December 14 by 4pm.
