Thanking Outgoing Board Members
Volunteer leadership is essential to Granite United Way’s success, and we have had the great fortune of working with some incredible individuals over the years. This year several of our most active Board Members will be terming off, and we want to thank them for their dedication to our community.
Several members who represent our Merrimack County region will be leaving the Board. Jeff Savage, retired CEO of Franklin Savings Bank, has served numerous roles, including Community Impact Committee Chair in our Merrimack County region. Nannu Nobis, founder of Nobis Engineering, has also served as Board Chair during his tenure with our Board. Rod Tenney, one of our longest serving Board Members, will also be leaving this year after providing valuable guidance to the organization.
In our North Country region, Bill Bedor has been the face of United Way for many years. We thank him for his volunteerism as a Campaign Cabinet Chair, Community Impact Chair and for also serving as Secretary for the Board.
In our Southern Region, Jeremy Veilleux from Baker Newman Noyes will not only be leaving his post as Board Member, but as its trusted Treasurer. Sean Owen, CEO of wedü, has enthusiastically served as both Board Member and Board Chair.
Each of these outgoing Board Members were part of the team that brought Granite United Way together in 2010. Their strategic vision positioned Granite United Way as the trusted leader it is today.
