Southern New Hampshire University Kicks off Day of Caring Season
Southern New Hampshire University's excitement about the Neighborhood Health Improvement Strategy (NHIS) led them to choose Beech Street School as their community project for this year's Resident Assistance orientation. The Resident Assistants from Southern New Hampshire University kicked off Day of Caring season this year by donating some sweat equity to the Beech Street School in Manchester. Teams were formed (with some pretty creative names!) and during their RA orientation they learned first hand about some of the ways Southern New Hampshire University gives back to the community.
Projects included moving furniture, desks, landscaping and even completing community surveys with the assistance of the Manchester Health Department.
