Participate In The 2016 Postal Worker Food Drive
The 2016 Postal Worker Food Drive is fast approaching! Be sure to gather your non perishables for May 14th!
WHAT IS THE POSTAL WORKER FOOD DRIVE?
The largest one-day-food-collection event in the nation! After the food has been collected, it is then taken back to a postal station, sorted and delivered to local food banks or food pantries where it is available to those in need.
WHAT CAN I DO?
Place a box or can of non-perishable food next to your mailbox before your postal worker delivers the mail.
WHAT CAN I DONATE?
You can donate items like canned meats, fish, soup, bottled juice, vegetables, pasta, cereal and rice - items that do not require refrigeration. Please do not include items that have expired or are in glass containers.
