POSITION: Administrative Assistant, Merrimack County FLSA: Exempt
DEPARTMENT: Administration STATUS: Part Time
REPORTS TO: Senior Director Regional Impact

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Primary responsibility is to greet visitors, respond and direct calls appropriately
2. Manage general office function such as mail distribution, office supplies, petty cash, office service vendor correspondence.
3. Provide a variety of administrative support services to the Capital Area Public Health Network
4. Provide administrative support to the Sr. Director of Regional Impact as it relates to the Community Impact Committee, Community Review Teams, Day of Caring and other potential events.
5. Provide administrative support to the Director of Resource Development for Merrimack County and the Campaign Cabinet including but not limited to preparing materials for employee campaigns, and collecting and processing campaign envelopes and thank you letters as needed.
6. Provide administrative support to the Director of Asset Building
7. Provide administrative and event planning support for presentations, meetings, events and special programs (coordinate speakers, invites, response, locations, agendas, AV needs, materials, catering, and etc.)
8. Provide database support.
9. Assist with mailings
10. Compile data, generate reports on an ad hoc basis
11. Establish and maintain productive relationships with donors, vendors and volunteers.
12. Other duties as assigned
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:
1. Prior experience preferred.
2. Demonstrated proficiency managing multiple tasks and adjusting to changing priorities.
3. Proficient in Microsoft Office software, database management
4. Comfort with different software applications
5. Ability to follow written and verbal instruction
6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
7. Ability to travel within GUW service area as required.
ENVIRONMENT:
This position is primarily based in a general office environment that is clean, well-lighted, environmentally comfortable, free of fumes or airborne particles, and only minimally exposes employees to office solvents limited to those relative to copier equipment.
This position requires the ability to:
1. Minimal requirement to reach at or above shoulder level; occasional reaching below shoulder level required
2. Hand manipulation - equipment and controls, frequent; grasping and handling, occasional lifting.
3. Ability to travel throughout the territory required
4. Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include night and weekends
5. Ability to tolerate prolonged sitting and/or standing and to lift up to approximately 25 pounds to waist high level whenever necessary.
6. Mobility includes regular sitting, some standing and walking.
