Granite United Way Honors Loyal Contributors
Granite United Way joined United Ways across the country this week to honor Loyal Contributors, those who have been giving for 10 or more years.
The audience at Tuesday night's Loyal Contributor Thank You Reception at Southern New Hampshire University was filled with United Way supporters who had been giving for 10, 20, 30, 40, 50...even in excess of 60 years! It was truly remarkable to share a room with such a dedicated group of individuals, Granite United Way President and CEO Patrick Tufts even noted during his remarks that collectively those in attendance represented more than 2,000 years of giving to United Way.

We were honored to hear from some of our most enduring donors when they spoke about their reasons for giving so consistently. As Stan Clark, a retiree from Public Service of New Hampshire and a donor for more than 60 years, so eloquently stated that he and his wife, Martha, continue to support United Way because "if you are living you should be giving."
Special thanks to the event's generous sponsor, Northwestern Mutual. Additional thanks to the Jazz Ensemble at Manchester Community Music School for performing that evening.
Granite United Way plans host this event each year to honor our Loyal Contributors throughout the different regions.
