Campaign Celebration Honors Merrimack County Community Supporters

Merrimack County knows how important supporting the community is, and Granite United Way honored several individuals and organizations during their recent Merrimack County Annual Campaign Celebration on Tuesday, February 19th at the Common Man Restaurant in Concord.
“Our friends in Merrimack County have always been supportive of United Way programs and we are grateful for the generosity of this community,” said Patrick Tufts, President and CEO of Granite United Way. “It’s a privilege to work among such energetic and dedicated community supporters.”

Tufts also extended sincere thanks to Mayor Jim Bouley, who has chaired the local United Way campaign for the past two years.
“Each of the individuals and organizations we honored during the Campaign Celebration have been imperative to the success of our annual United Way campaign. We’ve raised $1.9 million in support for this region.” said Mayor Jim Bouley, Chair of the 2011 and 2012 United Way Campaigns. “I have enjoyed working with so many dedicated citizens during these campaigns. They truly demonstrate the power of working together for the common good of our community.”
The annual event was sponsored by Centrix Bank, Dartmouth HitchcockConcord, Lincoln Financial Group and Public Service of New Hampshire. Additional support was provided by Associated Grocers of New England and Sulloway & Hollis.
