Become Town Manager for the Day - in Gorham, NH
Gorham, N.H (November 25, 2013) – Ever dreamed about what you would do if you ran the town? Town employees of Gorham have a chance to win the honor of swapping roles with Town Manager, Robin Frost, for the day.
Employees making a $1/week pledge during the town’s annual United Way campaign will be entered into a raffle to swap jobs for the day
The campaign kicked off on Wednesday, November 20th and will help to raise critical funds for Granite United Way. Local volunteers on the Community Impact Committee will make funding decisions in the spring and award grants from the campaign.
"We are excited to offer a fun incentive for our United Way campaign," said Frost. "I can’t wait to see who ends up sitting in my seat – and whose job I’ll be handling for the day!"
Kathleen Frenette, Director of Resource Development for Granite United Way, applauds the town for their creative approach.
"Our most successful campaigns stem from groups willing to have fun with it," said Frenette. "We have so many generous supporters in this area and when companies bring some entertainment to their campaign everyone really enjoys it!"
